I have a question since the nintendo uses the 6502 cpu and so does the atari,
how come there is no great emulator for the atari like there is for the
nintendo. I’ve tried xl-it, rainbow, atari800 but none compare to the spead
and compatibly of a nintendo emulator

I have a 133 with 32 Ram and a decent video card. XLit .20 runs
wonderfully. The interface takes some getting used to, and it has some
quirks, but I can run any atari game very well (I actually had to slow
down most games with the speed lock feature). I tried Rainbow, but I
didn’t like the no sound or not full screen graphics. XLit is a big
step up though. I got the emulator and some great images at
http://w3.one.net/~tom_cody (although this weekend it was undergoing
some major changes, hopefully it’s finished).
Hope this helps,
