Have you tried the "normal" sound blaster setting? That should work,
with no echoes..

Gauntlet Speech

Greetings,

I found out today that the speech system in the Gauntlet arcade
machines is the same one Stephen Hawking uses to communicate.

Would it be in bad taste to patch the next release of MGE with ‘Red
Elf has found a worm hole’

   Take care, Ian

DSK, and cool M3

I am looking for a utility that will convert my DSK files into a Disk
Copy 4.2. I am also looking for software or people that would convert my
M3 of MMMBop(by Hanson)to a useful AIFF or WAV. I am using a Mac 68K, so
i cant do the M3 conversion

Here are some arcade games I would like to see emulated:
Berzerk, Crossbow, Chiller, Track n Field, Hypersports, Excitebike,
Championship Sprint.

Two that I can’t remember the name for:
1. A tank game that had a round knob joystick about the size of a ping
pong ball with a small thin button (about 2 mm in diameter, 1 cm in
height) used for guns. I think the knob was red and button white. I
believe there must have been another button for grenades or the other
way around, and buttons to control the direction of the gun?
Basically you just moved your way up the scrolling screen (top down
view), and there were other tanks or people behind small forts or
brick walls.  I have been trying to remember the name of this game
for, oh, 10-15 years now.  The arcade here only had it for a few
weeks.

2.  Some type of space game were at the beginning there was a giant
cyclops eye that moved back and forth and talked in a mean voice (it
was mean when I was about 12 years old, would probably laugh now..
Thats all the specifics I can recall but I remember it was a good
game.

Anyone remember anything about these last two?

TOSBOX news

Those who have been following the progress of the TOSBOX emulator
project will want to read its news page.  In hopes of spending a little
less time answering email about the same topics, I’m starting to keep
public notes on what features are being developed, what conflicts have
been found, what bugfixes are finished or in the works, and the state of
TOSBOX in general.

Please do continue the feedback though.  It is all very helpful.

Magic Engine V.09 – any luck?

Has anyone had any luck getting any Turbo Grafx cd’s to work on Magic
Engine v.09?
I have several super cd-roms, and  I have not had one work yet. It keeps on
telling me system card required? I don’t think the author was done with the
cd support yet.
