I haven’t said I do have anything that HVSC hasn’t! Just that I have the Hubbard/Galway
collection online – not everyone has HVSC.

Dunno if any of you are working on 1943 support, but if you are and are
concerned about the security chip…
On my webpage (http://www.wwwpro.com/clay/roms_stuff.html) there is a set
of ROMs that include the main CPU code that *doesn’t* require the security
chip. Architecturally the game looks to be very similar to Ghost -n-
Goblins, Gunsmoke, Commando, and 1942… Should be do-able.

Is it just me or has the Namco version of Xevious stopped working
in MAME .28? I’ve tried downloading new copies from AH, Dave’s, AROM
& Lord 13′s but none of them work. I get a files not found message,
but when I look in the xeviousn folder the files are there. The other
versions all work fine. Anyone else notice this?

Anybody actually register that Xevious emu from a few months back??
The one that allows gameplay only on level one / no sound. Mame converted
THAT one into a farce

Is there a problem with tp84 on mame in the form of double ships (yours).
I don’t remember the game being that way. In the opening of a level, as
your ship warps to the center, there’s 2 ships with only one leaving
trails. Is this a mame problem or do I have corrupt roms? The checksums
appear to match..

How about emulating the following games: Astro Blaster (early Sega/Gremlin game
with speech) Gaplus (aka Galaga 3) Megazone (vertical scroller similar to
Xevious) Raiden/Raiden 2/Raiden (probably the last of the good classic games)
Also if anyone has the roms or info about these: Mappy 2 New Rally-X
Does anyone know here I can find some information about Sinclair QL,
some kind of user’s guide ? I never owned a QL, but as I’m a Sinclair
fan, I would like to try QLAY, to see who QL worked. I don’t even
know how to load a program or a game in QL.
