Re: BBC Micro Emulator

Hi Rob,

If anyone wants some source that’s reputedly able to read ADFS 5.25" disks
I can make it available for ftp.  Note however, that the code is in a fair
state, but there are some executables which may do the job.  They do not
work on my controller though – apparently as the PC bios only used double
density, the single density (BBC type) mode has been dropped from many of
the controllers in the PC.

To second what Rob said – anyone with working source/binaries, post/email
me too!

pcdgn201.zip – Dragon/CoCo Emulator & Debugger v2.1 EGA 40Mhz

I have uploaded to SimTel, the Coast to Coast Software Repository ™,
(available by anonymous ftp from the primary mirror site OAK.Oakland.Edu
and its mirrors):

SimTel/msdos/emulator/
pcdgn201.zip    Dragon/CoCo Emulator & Debugger v2.1 EGA 40Mhz

PC-Dragon II is an emulator for the 6809 based Dragon 32, Dragon 64
and Tandy CoCo II home computers.  Emulated features include keyboard,
cassette, cartridge, printer, joystick, interrupts, text screen, and all
56 graphics modes.  Artifacing of monochrome modes may be enabled at the
users option.

The emulator also includes a built-in debugger and disassembler,
integrated support for Motorola’s freeware assembler, programmable
colours and function keys, and snapshot facilities fully compatible
with Jeff Vavasour’s CoCo2 Emulator versions 1.2 to 1.4.  A real ROM
image is required to use the emulator and is not supplied.

This release fixes a number of bugs in the recent pcdgn200.zip; these
were mostly unimportant but one was an ugly bug which caused the keyboard
to lock up in rare circumstances.  V2.01 also has a new facility which
allows portability of snapshots between different Dragon/CoCo
architectures.

pcdgn201.zip has replaced pcdgn200.zip

Freely distributable (CharityWare).  Uploaded by the author.

atari ST emulator?

I have recently bought a PC (486) and I was wondering
if there is an Atari ST emulator available so that I
can still use some of the programs that I have collected
over the years.

Cheers

WANTED: Spectrum emulator for Amiga

Does anyone out there know of an FTP site (or somewhere else) that has a
spectrum emulator to run on an A1200? I’ve got a sound sampler, so all I
need is the software.
Thanks in advance.

PC emulator needed

I’m in need of a PC emulator (286 or above) for simulation experiments.
I have an 8086 emulator, but need more.  I’ve heard there is a commercial
package(s) out there.  One suggested is SoftPC, but I have no idea where
to find out about this.  If anyone knows about this, or any other, emulator
could you drop me a line?  Appreciate it.  Thanks,
